I swear that I have the worst luck possible.
- If something can go wrong, it will go wrong for me.
I am also prone to injury. I guess the two go hand in hand. When I was little, my parents called my clutz because I was always tripping over nothing or hitting myself in the face with my own limbs on accident. It was quite humiliating as a child, and I still do not like to admit how clumsy I am. My husband cannot help but laugh at me sometimes, and I do not blame him because I have had so many incidents in the short time that we have been married. One such incident happened two days ago. I decided that it was time to move my air conditioner for the dining room window back up to the attic to store for the winter. It was already snowing outside at the time, so I was a little late to be putting the air conditioner away, but at least, I did it. I carried the air conditioner up the stairs to the second floor with no issues, but then, I went to open the door that leads up to the attic, and I dropped the air conditioner on my foot. It hurt so badly, and I think my neighbors probably heard me scream. I could hardly walk after that, so I just left the air conditioner at the basement stairs and went to the emergency room. It turns out I broke my toe, and I have to say that with my luck, it did not surprise me one bit. No more carrying air conditioners for me!
