I melted my current towel with a space heater

My husband, Todd, and I have been living in an ancient farmapartment for almost twelve years now, however we prefer the feel of the ancient house, however it is not straight-forward to maintain, and it seems like there is regularly something to maintenance up around here, and my associate and I do not have a lot of time to do that, not only do my associate and I not have time to maintenance things, however my associate and I also do not have time to reinsulated the entire house.

  • We knew that the apartment would need a current upgrade task, however my associate and I never got around to doing it, however my husband was saving his personal afternoons from labor to do the task himself, however he ended up chopping his leg and having to use the afternoons for that.

Now, my associate and I are stuck waiting until next year unless a miracle happens. We only have one powder room in the entire house, and it is the coldest room in the apartment during the winter time. I honestly don’t like that the powder room is frigid because it makes me dread taking a shower and even going to the powder room in the middle of the night. My husband proposed putting a space furnace in the powder room, so I did. We have had the space furnace in there for about four winters now, and I have never accidently set something on it until this year. I try to be super careful because I do not want to melt anything. Well, I know I forgot and set my brand current towel on the space furnace and left it there all day long… Thankfully, it did not get hot enough to catch fire or anything like that. It just melted a hole through my brand current towel. I cannot wait to get our apartment insulated so that my associate and I do not have to worry about space heating systems anymore.
