I have consistently been a lover of Ford trucks, then when our dad was a teenager, he had a Ford truck, and that truck stayed on our property for 30 years & then our dad passed that truck down to me! My dad bought a brand new 1999 7.3 turbo diesel. The F250 Super Duty was the top in its class & capable of towing extremely heavy weights. The 7.3 turbo diesel was such a monster that it was discontinued less than 10 years later! I ended up with the turbo diesel truck when our dad no longer needed it on the farm. The truck needed a new turbos pedestal, so I took it to a special Performance Shop to have the labor done. I did not want to take the truck to any old location. It’s not just any old truck. I unquestionably wanted to find a performance shop that handled diesel cars & trucks certainally. I had to drive to the next city, although I was cheerful to find a performance & automobile custom shop that had many star reviews & hundreds of gratified customers. The whole parking lot was filled with f-250s & all of them were at least 20 years old, but pulling into the parking lot & seeing all of those trucks lined up for repair absolutely made myself and others know a lot better about our decision to take our truck to the performance shop. The men had our truck for a week. I did not mind them keeping it for a while, because I have a car at condo that I can drive too.
