Looking at the stars at night can get cold really quickly

My son has been bugging me through most of the Winter asking when all of us were going to go out to watch the stars with the telescope, but we did try going out there in the Winter season.

However, it was so chilly and I couldn’t wait to get back inside with the comfort from the gas furnace and the fireplace.

He seemed to be alright out there so long as he was wearing multiple layers, then I just felt so frosty though and it was difficult for me to deal with. Lately, all of us were able to get out a few times to watch the stars, and some of the days were still a bit too frosty for our taste, then our partner got me something really nice, a pair of gas furnace inserts for our coat, now I am able to charge these heating systems and set the temperature control settings how I want… She got some for our son too so he can be just as warm as me when all of us are out there checking out the strange stars and the craters on the moon. Honestly, I wish all of us would have gotten these gas furnace inserts back when our son was bugging me about going out in the Winter weeks; but at least when all of us did go out in the Winter, I would have been so much more comfortable! Our son is already looking forward to the warmer weeks, however he also looks forward to next Winter so all of us can watch the stars while utilizing the gas furnace inserts. He says the skies are usually brighter while in the Winters. I’m not sure if that’s true, however there were some undoubtedly clear days this past Winter.
