It wasn’t long ago when I decided to get a quote for having a geothermal HVAC system installed in my home. I ended up talking to my father about it and asked if I could get a loan from him to afford this fancy geothermal HVAC system. I was telling him how I would pay him back in payments, but he said unfortunately that he was not able to help me out because his funds were too tight. He said he wished he could because he knew how much I wanted a highly energy efficient HVAC system, especially one that doesn’t pollute the environment. Well, it wasn’t but a day later when my uncle came to visit out of nowhere. He said that he heard I was looking to get a geothermal HVAC system installed. He said he would pay for the whole thing so I could focus on taking care of my family and putting food on the table for the youngsters. My uncle is a rich guy, but he rarely ever offers to share his money with anybody, even close family. I don’t know what it is that my father said to him, but he for some reason became extremely generous and helped me pay for this geothermal HVAC. I told him I would cover a portion of the cost, but he insisted that it was all on him. He said how he always admired me over the years and appreciated that I was so concerned about helping to improve the environment in this crazy and polluted world.
