It’s about time for me to start cleaning out my house.

I’ve consistently been told that older homes need more work! I’ve consistently known this however I’ve shrugged off the idea that it’s true.

When I was buying my loft my parents thought it was a poor idea.

All of the houses that we moved into when we were younger were consistently brand new. My parents didn’t want to do much renovating or replacing unit or appliances. Once I was in the buying process they would tell me, you’re going to regret it! Now that I have been in my loft for six months now I have done a lot of renovating. To be tolerable it has been terrible although I enjoy the way my loft looks now! Since most of my loft is completed, I want to start redoing my basement. My basement is pretty big plus I feel it has a lot of potential. Since the loft is older, there is no heating or cooling down there. There are a few vents although I don’t feel any air comes out of them. I have been told that the best type of heating plus cooling system that I should use is a mini split heat pump in my basement. This is because I should keep the basement plus loft air separate from each other. I do want to get a second opinion though so I will be contacting my local Heating and A/C provider to see what option is best. I’m hoping that whatever option I choose it won’t be a hassle or cost me a lot of currency.

There was one afternoon where it was entirely nice outside & my husbandy & I went to a Wednesday night game, but during the afternoon the temperature was mild however at night it started to get a little freezing, however so I went to the temperature control that’s installed on the wall in our box & adjusted it to a few degrees higher. 30 minutes or so went by & the temperature stayed the same. I decided to call one of the staff members that served us in our box & told them that the temperature wasn’t changing & I wasn’t sure if I was using the temperature control properly. I walked over to the temperature control with his & he touched the same exact controls as I did. The temperature control was certainly similar to the one that’s installed in my home. She said that she’s going to come back in 10 minutes to see if the temperature change. She came back & the temperature was the same. She apologize for the inconvenience & said that he was going to call the maintenance specialist. The maintenance specialist came shortly after & ended up changing the temperature control because it was faulty.
