I was doing the best I could for years after I finished college.
I went to culinary college so I could become a chef, however for a number of years I could only find a position as an assistant cook. This never resulted in much cash, at least not enough to afford more than a studio house in a sketchy village. It helps that I’m a large guy, although I still worry occasionally when I get apartment late at night, especially if someone is waiting in an alley & ready to jump out & mug me. That’s why I have a concealed weapon’s permit, I just hope I never have to use it. That would be a terrifying situation to live through, even if I survived unscathed. While I have a much better task these days, I still am far away from apartment ownership. I don’t have much cash saved in the bank, however our credit is slowly repairing itself while I practice smart & healthy debit card habits. If it hadn’t been for our improved credit, I wouldn’t have been able to afford this amazing substitute to our only source of air conditioning in our apartment. I was using an aged window air conditioning that was struggling whenever I tried it in the afternoon hours. I had the option to simply get a new window air conditioning, however instead I paid to have a ductless mini chop installed as a major substitute to the former air cooler. It handles both heating & cooling purposes & is much more powerful than our former machine.
