My husband is constantly looking for homes for sale, he genuinely likes the system of getting rich quickly with real estate.
He is on the hunt for single family homes, rental properties, duplexes plus commercial real estate for sale, but i think in an ideal world he would purchase a mini storage facility.
He wants to be a commercial real estate owner, then the benefits of commercial real estate is that he wouldn’t have to deal with a proper renter. If you owned a storefront plus rented that out, a supplier owner is a lot weird than someone living there full time. They properly treat the property better, spend money on time plus are a higher class of people. I think with mini storage it is appealing to our husband since there isn’t a lot of upkeep involved. He wouldn’t need to hire a property manager, handyman or business, however what repairs are needed for a storage facility? As long as water, rodents plus roots don’t get in, everything is good. The facility should spend money back for itself in a few years, then right now our city has two mini storage sites. The a single is big plus has almost 30 units that are rented out. It is way too big for just our husband at this point. The other a single only had 10 units plus is a bit more manageable. The people are working way too much for their facility however. They want more money than they make with the rentals. That is just ridiculous, then so it doesn’t look relaxing for our husband at this point.
