Living in the desert part of the country is something that is very different than you could imagine.
- Especially in the winter time months of the year.
When it gets cold it is a different kind of cold. It is like being in a deep freezer or something. It is this dry cold that makes my allergies act up almost as bad as it does when it is super hot. The air quality here is just bad in general. But when you get the dry cold, it is no different. It also makes your skin feel dry and tight. This is why I have both a humidifier and a whole home air purification system in my home. Between the whole home air purification system and the humidifier it helps keep everything in the house much better. The air quality is good and the air is not so dry. Then when I run the central heating and air conditioning system’s heater, it pans it out with the whole home air purification system going. This dry coldness is pretty bad. I just hate living in this part of the country all together. But because I have my whole home air purification system and my humidifier it makes it much more bearable. I also make sure and call my local heating and air conditioning company mid season to have a certified heat and a/c specialist come out to make sure that both my central heating and air conditioning system as well as my whole home air purification system are running properly with no issues brewing that I do not know about. This helps things along to ensure my indoor comfort.
