Every year I adore taking my birthday off from work, and if it’s on a weekend, then no problem, but if it’s on a work day I talk to the boss weeks in advance in addition to making sure to request the entire day off. I didn’t complain, I just drove to the old folks house in addition to got right to work on the furnace; and then my boss joined myself and others to serve as my assistant; He is the owner of the supplier, even though he knows I have superior HVAC skills so he was cheerful to work as a helper! We actually fixed the furnace within 2 thirds, in addition to he offered myself and others a $200 bonus afterward.
