There are regularly problems when you transfer into a modern house, but when I say “new” I mean “a modern arena to call home” not that the building was recently constructed, then this home is over 40 years old, but I still guess of it as my modern house.
When a arena is this old, there are a wide variety of little problems, but since this building had been empty for almost a decade, I knew there would be a lot of dampness, mildew, and possibly even insect or animal infestations, and i thought that section would be easy, but I was easily wrong.
The squirrels had been residing in the air duct of the home for almost many years, and they had no desire to leave. I had to call in an expert for some advice, because I didn’t want to spray poison and end up with air ducts filled with rotting animals. It took the Animal Control expert almost a week to get the air duct clear of animals, at which point I contacted the local contractor about sending in a team. The entire air duct program would have to be scrubbed and sterilized, because who knows how much filth and disease kneel inside those ducts? It turns out that no amount of cleaning or fertilizing could save the air ducts, they were too badly disfigured from so several years of infestation. I had to get the aged ducts removed, and have all-new air duct installed, which took a while and was shockingly pricey… From here on out I will be diligent about cleaning and taking care of my air duct.
