My sister is a popular DJ, but my pal and I are about 15 years apart, and I have always looked up to him… She is technically my step sister, however my pal and I never call each other that.
- She is my sister, and has been looking out for me from the afternoon I was born, then when I was a toddler, our parents gifted him a DJ set, and she began practicing.
She got so nice that she started doing gigs like teenagers parties. He’d get paid for her work, and save the currency for more gear. When I was 10, she was already doing professional gigs in town. She introduced me officially to being a DJ, and would teach me a few things about her world; In school, I’d DJ a bit, but I knew I wanted a unusual career, then so, after graduating, I went to a local community university and trained to be a Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech. I loved being a DJ and learning from my sister, however it was more of a hobby. My pal and I were talking one afternoon about my future and I told him I liked being a DJ however it wasn’t what I wanted to do with my life. My sister has always been supportive and even took me to apply for the Heating, Ventilation and A/C course. I was in school for a year, got certified, and found a job with a local Heating, Ventilation and A/C business. I appreciate working as a Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech, and also being a part time DJ in town. Mostly, I’d have a gig waiting for me when I leave work at the local Heating, Ventilation and A/C business. It’s more of a side hustle, and I acquire extra income.
