The last several years, I’ve made a conscious effort to rid my life of anything that isn’t serving the betterment of my life.
That goes for my possessions as well as some of the relationships I’m in.
It sounds sort of rough but living with stuff that pulls me down is not worth it anymore. Like when I’m at work inside the zone controlled HVAC, I just do my job and I do it the best I know how. There isn’t a need to impress or manage perception so I can manipulate or gain advantage. That sort of goes counter to the way I approach my life these days. For too long, I played that game before finally figuring out there’s just no value in living like that. And that fits with my plan of just keeping what’s important and letting go of the other stuff. However, there are plenty of aspects of my life that have great value indeed. The HVAC equipment that I trust for my quality heating and air is a great example. Residential HVAC is just totally essential. I need it, my family needs it so it’s imperative that I make sure I value the HVAC equipment. And to that end, I signed up for the HVAC service plan not too long ago. This HVAC service plan entitles me to heating maintenance in the fall and cooling maintenance in the spring. There are other benefits of the HVAC service plan as well. I’ve had my HVAC equipment now going on 20 years. And in all of that time, I’ve not had one single HVAC related issue. Talk about a valuable part of my life. The quality heating and air is just that.
