I am having a hard time containing my excitement this year. I’ve got a big trip planned for June, and I’m already thinking about it. I’m eagerly anticipating the trip, even though it won’t happen for another three or so months. I do my job from home these days. By introducing me to working from home in my own air conditioning, the pandemic actually changed all of that for me. Despite the fantastic zone-controlled HVAC at the office, I find that working remotely works better for me. My ability to work and travel during the summer is its best feature. This suits me perfectly because I’m single. My computer allows me to work from anywhere, which is great because I enjoy traveling. Really, that’s quite amazing, and I’m making the most of my summer vacation by leaving as often as I can. In the summer, where I live, it feels like I’m living on the sun’s surface. In order to run the heat pump that frequently, that entails running a ton of air conditioning and incurring a ton of expenses. In order to travel to places where the summer is much cooler, I will start traveling in June. I’ll still have plenty of air conditioning as I travel down the road this summer, despite everything. I have fantastic heating and cooling in my car, but I really enjoy the air conditioning. And when I’m not camping, where the cooling comes naturally, I’ll make sure to stay in places where the heating and cooling equipment is prepared to give me all the cooling comfort I need.
