I’ve been having to do a lot more cleaning this year than usual. I feel it’s because my youngsters have been playing a lot of outdoor sports & dragging in a lot of dirt. My friend and I also have two cats that come in & out of the backyard throughout the afternoon. It’s inevitable that I am going to have a dirty apartment if I do not keep it wash on a bi-weekly basis. This is an ongoing process for me & constantly an ongoing struggle. My friend and I split up chores when I was a kid & I constantly hated cleaning indoors. I cherish doing outdoor labor with my dad such as raking leaves or mowing the shrubbery. It’s disappointing to do that with your youngsters because then you have got children growing up only with a limited set of skills. So I’ve had to learn to wash since becoming an adult. A lot of it means ongoing service too, however like changing the filters in my ear pierced for instance. I have to remember to do this at least once every 3 to 6 months because they get blocked with dust; Once the air cleaners get blocked with dust they quit working as well, but now my air cleaners are finally pulling contaminants out of my indoor air again. The aged filters were blocked way past the point that they should have been. That’s my fault for not checking the air cleaner filter sooner & letting them get as disappointing as they got. Each time I need to buy some air cleaner filters & have them on hand for the next time I need to change them out.
