I’ve been having to do a lot more cleaning this year than usual. I know it’s because my adolescents have been playing a lot of outdoor athletic activitys and dragging in a lot of dirt. My pal and I also have two cats that come in and out of the backyard throughout the day. It’s inevitable that I am going to have a dirty house if I don’t keep it wash on a yearly basis. This is an ongoing process for me and always an ongoing struggle. My pal and I split up chores when I was a kid and I always hated cleaning indoors. I cherish doing outdoor work with my Mom such as raking leaves or mowing the lawn. It’s terrible to do that with your adolescents because then you have got children growing up only with a limited set of skills. So I’ve had to learn to wash since becoming an adult. A lot of it means ongoing maintenance too. Like changing the filters in my ear pierced for instance. I have to remember to do this at least once every 3 to 6 months because they get clogged with dust! Once the whole-house air purifiers get clogged with dust they quit working as well, but now my whole-house air purifiers are finally pulling contaminants out of my indoor air again. The ancient filters were clogged way past the point that they should have been. That’s my fault for not checking the whole-house air purifier filter sooner and letting them get as terrible as they got. Each time I need to buy some whole-house air purifier filters and have them on hand for the next time I need to change them out.
