My wife and I have three children and our youngest daughter is 17 years old.
She is still a senior in high school, but she has had a full-time boyfriend for the last 2 years.
A couple of months ago, my wife and I found out that she is going to have a baby. We were very upset at first, but we realized that we needed to get on board with a new plan. My wife and I wanted the kids to have a place to raise the baby, so we looked for a property that we could purchase for them. They could make payments to us instead of the bank. If there was a problem from time to time with paying the rent, then we didn’t have to worry about the kids getting kicked out of their home. My wife and I looked at several places. One trailer was in really good shape, but the roof was soft in several spots. Inside of the trailer there were no problems at all and it looked like the previous owner was trying to make some much needed updates. My wife and I decided to buy this particular place for the kids. We put the trailer on an acre of property that we purchase two streets down from our own place. We contacted a roofing contractor to install a brand new roof on the entire home. The kids won’t have to worry about the roof at all for the next 20 years. By the time the trailer needs a new roof, their children will be adults.
