The vacation was just the best.
John spent 5 weeks traveling all over the continent.
He ate the finest foods, slept in the nicest hotels, and even spent two nights camping under the stars. It was literally a dream come true. All great things must end, as the saying goes. When John returned to the cabin, everything was horrible. Since he has pets, John asked his sister to look in on them every day. The pets weren’t in any trouble, but the air conditioning had failed. John checked the thermostat and saw that it had been cranked all the way down to 67 degrees. Thanks to this being a smart thermostat he could pull up all the recent data, and saw that the settings had been changed various a ago. John asked his sister why she had turned on the air conditioning and set it to such a low temp. She said that the pets seemed unhappy so she adjusted the air conditioning to help them. John told his sister that by lowering the air conditioning settings by almost 20 degrees she had overworked the system. Now his air conditioning was broken, and it was 100% her fault. John’s sister is one of those boneheads who thinks that animals have the same feelings as humans. Since she felt the AC should be lower, she assumed the animals felt the same way. Jon learned his lesson, and will never let his sister take care of his pets or air conditioning ever again.
