I ensured that the air conditioning provider and the cleaning team worked the same day because I was not too fond of the smell. I also asked the air conditioning technician to check the thermostat while he conducted the air conditioning repair. It was less about HVAC maintenance and more about finding the root cause of my misery. When the a/c serviceman and cleaning team finished, the odor had disappeared. The strange part was that none of them had encountered anything that would have been the cause.
