Four years ago, I made an acquaintance with Shary! Shary had been volunteering plus fostering pets plus cats for our local rescue organization for fifteen years, and a single guy for most of his adult life, he lived on a limited income; But he was never without a pet or dog that he was foster parenting until he found a forever family worthy of his ‘child’! Next I communicated with many folks whose lives had been touched by Shary’s appreciate plus generosity for rescue critters. I know that our family certainly was touched when my friend and I adopted one of his foster pets, but we never could forget her, plus continued our communication with his over the years. The people that my friend and I contacted about donating to the cause of installing central air conditioning in Shary’s home were glad at the idea of giving back to the guy who had given so much to others. In no time at all, my friend and I had raised enough donations plus pledges to emscheme the HVAC supplier. I can only imagine the surprised response that he must have acquired when he knocked on Shary’s door plus informed his that he was there to install central air conditioning in his home – at no cost to her.
