I live in a condo that I have been renting for 2 years now. I enjoy living here because the condo is located in a gated community, it’s quiet and it has a small park where my dog can run around and play. And not to mention that my landlord is great, he always responds to me if I need something or if an equipment is broken inside the apartment. He has a handyman, David, that he uses all the time and he has fixed my dryer as well as my dishwasher. A few weeks ago, I had an issue with the faucet in my tub. Out of nowhere it began to drip water, so I contacted my landlord to tell him of the issue. I thought for sure he would have sent a plumber over to fix the faucet but instead, David showed up and fixed it with no issues. David is a handyman that is literally a jack of all trades, he seems to know how to fix almost anything in the house. I jokingly asked him if there was anything that he couldn’t fix. And he said the only thing that he didn’t do was fix HVAC units or perform electrical work. As a landlord and property owner, it’s always great to have a reliable handyman on call when you need him. And it’s especially good when the handyman has years of experience and knows how to fix everything. Being a landlord and property owner is no easy task, but you can eliminate headaches when you can keep your tenants happy by making sure that there is no long wait when it comes to the maintenance of the property.

Looking back, I cringe at how my old website looked.

I still can’t believe that I actually had that as my professional heating and cooling business website. As a kid, I had learned the basics of web design, and so I created all kinds of different websites for various childish purposes. Well as an adult, instead of getting professional help with a website like I should have, I created my own and expected it to do well. So when it didn’t bring in a ton of new customers like I had expected, I was surprised. My friend recommended to me to seek the help of a marketing business, and at first I was hesitant, but after not seeing any improvement in traffic, I decided to go ahead with it. One of the first things that the lady told me upon seeing my website is that it looked like a 5 year old created, which is about how much knowledge I had towards the subject of website design. I didn’t even know about web building or link building. Of course, customers aren’t going to be attracted to a childish looking website, and so she helped me create a more professional look. Just with this small change alone, I noticed I started to get more traffic as well as customers. I was amazed at how one small change can lead to so many more customers. Another important thing for me to learn about was about SEO, and I talked to a SEO business about that and learned how it can help my business grow as well.

However, those ads only worked for so long, before I knew I would have to move on. I had heard of Google ads, but that was about all I knew about digital marketing. So I stopped relying on newspaper ads and billboards and started looking towards the internet. But where to begin? There was so much knowledge the internet had to offer, I had no idea where to even start. Thankfully, there were actually specific businesses that are here to help people like myself. I ended up going with a marketing business that sounded good, and they helped me create my own Google ads, as well as learn how to attract more customers with my website. My website was pretty important, but it was missing a few things. One of the main things was SEO, and that is what I needed the most. I needed to know what keywords my customers were going to enter when looking for HVAC services, and the marketing company helped me with that. Really, I feel like they did most of the work, but either way, the results were great. My business is doing the best it has done in years.

Anyone who has a heating and air conditioning business that has not tried online marketing is really depriving their business.

Or really, it doesn’t even have to be a HVAC business, anyone who is not using digital marketing to their advantage is depriving themselves.

I would know, because I learned this myself. I run a heating and A/C business, and I love it. This is exactly what I wanted to do, and even though it can be challenging at times, it makes me feel incredibly successful. However, there were a few things that I knew I needed to improve on, and one of those was creating an online presence. Ofcourse, in this day and age I had to have some online presence. So I created a nice website with a fancy web design and web building and I called it a day. That worked for a little while, but there is so much more to a website than just the design and link building. This is when I had to learn about pay per click and search engine optimization. Before PPC, I had regular ads that would appear on people’s screens. However, PPC is a more efficient advertising method in my experience. Before SEO, I had never tried using keywords before, and I was just expecting that people would come across my website. However, after applying those two methods to my A/C business, I noticed a big difference in how many calls my business received each week. It is amazing how much online marketing can improve a business.

Every springtime, after the winter frost goes away, my dad constantly gets ready to plant his summer garden. He goes to the hardware store farmers markets and local nurseries for plants and seeds for his lovely vegetable garden. He mostly plants peppers and tomatoes, but he also plants some fruits as well. My mom enjoys going to the garden to take all the veggies from the vines and trees. She gets her bag and fills it up with all the goods. Typically, I visit during the summer months, so I get to participate in the yearly picking of the veggies from the garden. Although my mom is in the garden almost every afternoon, she’s still afraid of all the pollinators that come to visit there. Last summer, while in the garden with her, she saw a few bumble bees and wasn’t too thrilled that they were in the garden too. At first, she didn’t know what they were, but of course that’s because she didn’t get close enough to them. When I looked and saw that they were bumble bees, it provided her some comfort knowing that they weren’t a random flying insect. I think that was the first time that I looked at a bumble bee up close. Of course, I have seen them before, but never stopped long enough to pay close attention to them. They are distinctly different from the normal honey bees. Immediately, you’ll notice that the bumble bee is a lot greater and rounder than the honey bee. They are also fuzzier than their close relatives. Personally, I find them cuter than the honey bees, and I assume they move around much slower as well. Either way, both of them are great for my dad’s garden and I am blissful they are there to pollinate it.

During the summer, I was babysitting my niece because my sister and hubby were going out of town to celebrate their anniversary. I love my niece Mia, she’s six years old and enjoys going to the park. In fact, if I took her to the park every afternoon she would be quite content with that. I babysat her for six days one time, and on the first afternoon I took her to a park and she fell in love with it. The next afternoon I had something else planned, although she wanted to go back to the park. I insisted on doing something else, which she said yes to after I bribed her to get vanilla ice cream. All of us went to a wildlife preserve that was close to my city, and it was a non-profit facility that rescued injured pets. When the two of us got to the refuge, we met the person in charge of the facility, and she explained what they did and mentioned that the facility was free but that they took donations. While in the office, I realized that there was a shelf with some local honey for sale. Turns out that the facility harvests their own honey and sells it to the public. I was cheerful to buy a jar of raw honey, especially since it was harvested from close to where I live. At times, I suffer from seasonal dust irritations and someone told me that eating local raw honey can help with those symptoms. I am not sure if that is honestly proven, even though I can confirm that I have been eating local honey for years and my dust irritations have improved tremendously. So, I consistently purchase raw honey every time I find someone selling it.

So investing in something that he believes in is honestly a pretty amazing investment. I would still keep genuinely working for the local company, however I’ll choose to cut my hours back a little bit if I make a lot of currency from this by next year. I appreciate genuinely working in the HVAC industry, however genuinely working less hours would be amazing because then I can focus more on my musical career plus provide it with more energy. We shall see how things work out for me.

Well, the temperature was not terrible a few hours ago, but now it’s getting a little bit too hot outside so I am going to turn on my air conditioning machine once again plus pay the power supplier’s my currency. I genuinely would love to know how much it costs per minute to run my a/c machine, that way I can get a grip on my spending each day so I know if I am spending too much on my climate control in the residence. What they need is some kind of meter that shows how much currency you’re spending when your air conditioner machine is turned on. Maybe they can incorporate that somehow into the smart temperature control’s functions so we know how much we are spending. Wouldn’t it be great to not be surprised when your power bill arrives? Usually the surprise I get is not a wonderful surprise, because I was using my heating or cooling too much for the previous month or several. Seriously, there must be a way for the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C companies to build a smart temperature control so that it knows how much currency you are spending while you are running the air conditioning or heating at home. It should be displayed for you in real time so you know exactly how much you’re spending. I suppose this is doable plus maybe this is something we will see sometime in the future. Or even better, all of the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C machines in the future will be entirely green plus will not use any power at all. This would make all of the local corporations completely happier too.

Or even better, all of the Heating plus Air Conditioning appliances in the future will be green plus won’t use any power in the slightest. This would make all of the local suppliers a lot happier also.
