The more I knew, the more fascinated I got

I felt like a teen waiting for summer break. It was a week before my work leave. I had done more work in the past month than in three months. The closing of the financial year meant that everyone had to submit all their financial records and how they had spent the company’s money for official duty. But finally, all the work was complete, and now I could take a holiday. I wanted to make the best of it, so I called the air conditioning company to check that everything was okay with my a/c. I wanted to enjoy the best indoor air quality and comfort so that I could completely unwind in the comfort of my home. The air conditioning technician came on the day I was starting my leave. Even though the company was a commercial air conditioning provider, it offered homeowners quality service, including air conditioning repair, and all their a/c servicemen were certified. The a/c professional delivered and replaced the filter when she came for HVAC maintenance. However, I wanted to make several changes to the HVAC installation. The multi-split air conditioning system would remain, but the upgrade to a zone control system. A digital thermostat would perfect the system’s workings. My quality air conditioner would be on a new level. Through the time I spent with the indoor comfort business, I learned more about air conditioning and the cooling industry than I had earlier. The more I knew, the more fascinated I got. I was not only getting a new system but also new information about its workings and how best to care for it.

The people I was with and I have never had central cooling system and have always been gleeful with our window cooling system units. When the A/C component in our living room broke, we debated if we wanted to buy a current one, or take one out of one of the other living rooms. He was so deep in thought; I was sure he was trying to repair it. When he came in from the garage that night, I asked if he had made any progress. He saw me smile and told me if I was laughing at him; I wasn’t funny. He was extreme about trying to repair the cooling system unit. He said even if we didn’t use it, at least it would be there if we needed a spare while trying to purchase a current A/C unit. I didn’t mean to frustrated my husband, although I was just wondering what he was doing with the A/C unit. I never saw him as being a handyman, however he was proving he was one. Not only did he eventually get the cooling system component running, however he kept it running for another year, and you couldn’t ask for a better cooling system unit, and the cooling was better than it had ever been. She told mom she didn’t love it when the lights went out, and how nice it was when mommy and daddy had the generator installed. She can stay hot when the lights go out because the furnace still works, and she can also see to read. I believe my child was convincing mom to live with us, even if I couldn’t.

If I had known how much the HOA was going to interfere in the ownership of my house, I would not have bought this house.

Not only does the HOA believe they should be able to tell us what to do with the house, but they also charge us dues to live here, but they won’t share the mortgage, then this doesn’t seem to be fair to me, my sibling and I were thinking about beautifying our lawn.

They wanted to believe what plants we could put in and told us we could purchase one tree, and it had to be an evergreen! When they weren’t on the property, we bought whatever plants we wanted and bought a magnolia tree. I also painted the cooling system component red. That caused more furor than the plants and trees. The president of the HOA told us we had no right to paint the A/C unit. He and his cronies told us it was written in the handbook that we could not touch the cooling system unit, unless it was to have it upgraded. I don’t believe the HOA was ready for my sibling and I. Instead, they took us to court, and we sold the condo and moved. The people I was with and I didn’t want to be under anyone’s rule, except our own, however our cooling system component and furnace belong to us and we are free to do what we want with our beach house and property.
