My bathroom is really cold on winter mornings.

This makes it so it is very difficult to get my day started when I go to take a shower and I am freezing my tail off in the process.

I have tried portable space heaters and other methods to try to warm the bathroom and nothing seems to quite work out. I think the most logical choice is going to be to invest in radiant heated floors for my bathroom. That is a no brainer and it will for sure work in correcting the issue. The only problem with this is that radiant heated floors cost a lot of money. Money which I do not have at the moment. I may try to call around to assorted heating and air conditioning companies and dealerships and see if any of them offer HVAC payment plans. If I could find an HVAC payment plan to get radiant heated floors for my bathroom, this will make it so that I could actually afford to get them. And believe me, I would jump on the chance as this bathroom being cold as it is in the mornings really is a major hassle. There has got to be some kind of heating and air conditioning company near me which offers heat and a/c payment plans for all kinds of HVAC equipment, including radiant heated floors! I will have to take to the internet and search some websites, click some clickable live links and see what I come up with. There has got to be a way, somehow.

I really am caught right now between getting a smart thermostat or a brand new standard dial thermostat for my central heating and air conditioning system.

My old thermostat is about done for and I need a new one.

If I was to go with a smart thermostat I would be totally up to date with technology today. But on the other hand, I am older so I am not very good with today’s technology. HVAC technology or computer technology it is all the same to me. It confuses the living hell out of me to tell you the truth. But I have to admit that I am really interested in a smart thermostat for the convenience of it and the fact that it can save you lots of money on energy use, which in turn will reduce the monthly electric bills. However, if it is going to be a major headache to run it and learn it, I would be much better off with the higher electric bills at certain times of the year and just have a good old fashioned dial thermostat or standard digital thermostat. Like I said, I am pretty caught on which direction I should go. But the more I think about it, the more likely I am going to end up probably going with an old fashioned dial thermostat like I have had for years, or possibly upgrade to a standard digital thermostat. For an older person like me, it is probably the very best choice at this point until I can really get to learn the ins and outs of how a smart thermostat actually works.

I no longer fly on airlines anywhere.

The reason for this is because I can not stand the heating and air conditioning nor the air quality on planes these days.

It seems they have all got really cheap with the money they invest to give the passengers indoor comfort. The air quality is always bad and makes me choke or sneeze my face off, or the heating and air conditioning is so weak that you are either freezing or feel like you are in a small oven. I’m not having any of that anymore! It is so uncomfortable to me I simply can not deal with it any longer. When I travel I end up either taking road trips in my car which has a great central heating and air conditioning system plus it can handle long road trips, or, I will take a train and get a sleeper car. The heating and air conditioning on trains I have noticed are not great, but they are acceptable. Also the air quality is a lot better cause you have more space in a long distance train ride with sleeper cars in there. Sure it is very expensive compared to flying somewhere and also it can take you a week or more to get across the country on a train versus the 8 hours or less it would on a plane. But I would rather pay the high dollars and take a long time to get somewhere in decent indoor comfort than have to deal with indoor discomfort for a whole day non stop on a plane with bad heating and air conditioning!

When going to buy a new heating and air conditioning system for your home, the best thing to do beforehand is to research everything.

What I mean by that is to research the prices of central heating and air conditioning systems at all stores in your area.

You will of course want to get and find the best possible price in central heating and air conditioning systems. There is no sense in paying a thousand dollars more for a heat and a/c unit that you can get a thousand dollars cheaper elsewhere. Believe it or not this happens when it comes to the sales of central heating and air conditioning systems. Some stores will not have sales and some will. There is also the fact that some of the smaller heating and air conditioning dealerships may charge way more than a central heating and air conditioning system is worth. This is a major rip off, but not everyone will know this unless you do your research first! The internet can help with this very much. You just search through a search engine like Google and try to find out what central heating and air conditioning systems are going for in your area. The other thing to take into account is the installation of the central heating and air conditioning systems. If you can find a deal where installation is included with the purchase of the brand new and up to date central heat and a/c unit, then of course that will be the very best way to go. So do your research and you will be happy.

Tomorrow I finally get my radiant heated floors I had been waiting to get for a long time.

It seems like a major milestone. I have been wanting radiant heated floors for a few years now and finally the day has come to where I am going to get them! It took a lot of saving up to be able to accomplish this. Ever since I had experienced radiant heated floors at a friend’s house I said to myself that I need to get these into my own home, but the price was pretty high. So it was something that I had to save up money to get. Tomorrow the local heating and air conditioning company is sending out a certified heat and a/c specialist to do the installation of the radiant heated floors in my living room, my kitchen and my bathroom. This is going to be really great. I would have got the radiant heated floors put into my bedrooms too, but in those I like the carpeting and did not want to have tile or wood flooring. So there I will either run a portable space heater or will have to get a baseboard heater of some kind. Because now that the radiant heated floors are coming, I will no longer be running central heating. It will just be central air conditioning only for the very hot summer months of the year. I can’t wait till the end of tomorrow when I will be experiencing radiant heated floors in my home. The job will take all day from what I understand. But it could have been longer had I not had the right flooring already.

I have had a major air flow issue with the central heating and air conditioning system in my home.

The reason for this is because the house was built kind of strange in its shape and sizing.

The logical answer would be to get HVAC zone control, also known as a zoned heating and air conditioning system unit. However, those things can be quite expensive and me and my family are not wealthy by any means. So what I decided to do was to buy a portable air conditioning system and a portable space heater. I will run the portable space heaters and portable air conditioning systems when needed in the respective seasons in addition to the central heating and cooling unit. These help! It makes it so that it balances out the air flow issue in each and every room and we have perfect even temperatures throughout the house. It cost almost nine hundred dollars to get what we needed, but that was a lot better than thousands of dollars on a zoned heating and air conditioning system. However if we had that kind of money we would have invested in HVAC zone control. Because it does work very well from what I experienced in a friend’s home who actually has a zoned heating and air conditioning system set up. But at least I have figured out the poor man’s version of heating and air conditioning zone control with the use of a few portable space heaters and a few portable air conditioning systems. I am quite happy with the result. A little extra sure does go a long way, that is for sure!

For the first time in a long time me and my wife are finally sleeping in great indoor comfort! We haven’t for a while because the central heating and air conditioning system was on its way out and we needed to invest in a new one.

The issue was that we could not afford it, so we had to just make do with what we had and have floor fans running at the same time when we used the air conditioning and when it was freezing in the winter we just had to bundle up under lots of blankets to stay warm with the very weak air flow of the heating coming out of the air vents.

Well, we finally we able to afford to get the most brand new, up to date, very powerful and also very expensive central heating and air conditioning system on the market today! We saved up all year to be able to do this and the day finally came last week when we could finally have the indoor comfort we had been missing for so long now. Sleeping is the best part of it because we do not have to deal with all the discomfort that we had before. This makes for a better night sleep and better quality of life all together. We do not want this new central heating and air conditioning system to break down anytime soon (or at all if possible), so we are making sure to get our HVAC tune ups and check ups done seasonally from the local heating and air conditioning company.

I found a really good way to make my portable air purification system do the best job that it can do. I found that if I run my central air conditioning at the same time as the portable air purification system it really gets things going to purify the air in the room that I am in. I guess that’s why they have whole home air purification systems running through your central heating and cooling unit when you invest in one of those. My portable air purification system had not been doing a real great job in fighting the bad air quality we have been having. The temperatures outside are not hot enough to need central air conditioning, but it is a little warm. So I hadn’t been running the central a/c because of that. But I thought that just maybe that would help a little. And lo and behold it did. When I run both the central air conditioning system and the portable air purification system at the same time it really makes it so that you do not even know that the air quality is that bad. As I was mentioning, the concept of what a whole home air purification system does and how it is installed and runs is what gave me the idea to give this a shot and see if it improved things. The fact that I have HEPA air filters in both the air conditioning system and the portable air purification system I think plays a good part in this as well. It’s really great.

We are right now sitting in record high temperatures.

We are having a major heatwave and it really is horrible. I have been having to crank my central air conditioning twenty four hours per day and seven days per week! There is literally no break when the central air conditioning system even shuts off for a few minutes. That is how bad the heat is. It has been almost one hundred and fifteen degrees in the day and at night we are lucky if the temperatures go down to the upper 90’s. It is really awful to say the least. I hope that this will end sometime soon. Because running my central air conditioning system all of the time is getting to be a real bad thing. Not only is it making the central heating and air conditioning system work overtime which could lead to an HVAC breakdown, but it is also making it so that my electric bills are going to be through the roof this next month as a result of it. We have never hit these kind of temperatures before for this long of a period of time. It almost seems like that it will never end. I will just have to hope that my central heating and air conditioning system doesn’t break down because of this and that I have to call the local heat and a/c company to send out a certified heating and cooling specialist to repair the central heating and air conditioning system because that will cost me even more money! The electric bills are going to be bad enough!

I recently had my very first experience with a portable air purification system.

I had heard about portable air purification systems for ages but never actually owned one.

What made me go out and buy a portable air purification system was because the air quality has been really awful here lately with something called ground level ozone pollution. Was constantly choking and having major issues breathing while trying to sleep. I finally had enough and decided to give one of these portable air purification systems a try. Well, I was glad that I did. While it didn’t completely remove all of my issues I was having as a result of the bad air quality, it made it so that some nights when it wasn’t as strong, that I could actually sleep in peace. I am pretty impressed by what I have seen so far with the portable air purification system. What I think is that maybe if I buy another one and have them both running at the same time it may be strong enough to combat the ozone air pollution. I’m not one hundred percent sure on this, but I think it will help more if anything. If I could afford a whole home air purification system I would invest in one of those, but since I can not, this portable air purification system will have to do the job the best that it can. Buying the additional portable air purification system I think will really be the best route to go at this point since I do know they actually work to some degree.

For a few weeks, I had been waking up in the middle of the night due to heat. No matter how low I inched our control unit settings down, our living room was too hot. I didn’t notice the heat before going to bed, but it was actually too warm after a few hours of sleep. Even with the ceiling fan running, I was waking up due to the heat. At some point, I realized this was a problem, so I busy an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tune up. When the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional came, I told him about the temperature difference in our living room, especially during the evenings. He walked around the entire condo with a special thermometer to check the temperature. Afterwards, he confirmed that there was a significant temperature difference in our living room! From there, he was able to examine the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C idea even further. What he found was surprising to me. The ductwork affixing to the air vents in our living room had a lot of holes that were causing the air to leak. My room was hotter than any of the other rooms in our condo because all of our AC was escaping before it could even get through our air vents. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C professional told me that he’d be able to patch all of the holes plus then our airflow would continue love normal. So far, I’ve noticed a giant difference in the temperature of our living room. I don’t wake up in the middle of the night due to the heat plus the temperature doesn’t think so drastically unusual than the other rooms.

Where the two of us live, the winters can range from mild to brutal plus the two of us never guess what to expect as the cooler weather creeps in, but since the Wintertide weather is so unpredictable, we’ve had to set up our Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C idea to handle all conditions.

When the two of us bought this house, there was a regular Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C idea set up, but both the gas furnace plus cooling system ran off of electricity.

The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C idea was only several years aged plus it ran great, however every one of us never experienced any troubles with it plus did an excellent task at heating plus cooling our home efficiently. There was no reason to replace the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C system, but the two of us did have 1 major concern, but during the occasional Wintertide storm, our power would go out, causing our gas furnace to stop running. Sometimes, the power would come on within a few hours, but sometimes it would take hours. There’s nothing worse than a home without heat during a Wintertide storm. To overcome this issue, the two of us decided to install a gas gas furnace in our kitchen. It’s mounted to the wall plus runs off a propane tank at the back of our house. Using gas, we’re able to heat a small portion of our condo when the electricity goes out. Over the years, we’ve used our gas gas furnace on several occasions plus we’re always thankful to have it. We’ve even convinced a few friends to have 1 installed too. It’s comforting knowing that you’ll have heat even in a poor storm that causes the electricity to go out.
