I tried my absolute hardest to do everything on my own. However, one day I did not know what to do. I had to call someone for help. I experienced my first real big problem with my HVAC system. I have never been more thankful for my carbon monoxide detector.

One night we were all sleeping.

Luckily, I am a little sleeper. I heard this faint alarm going off from somewhere. It would not stop so I had to find it. I looked and followed the noise. When I realized it had been coming from that carbon monoxide detector, I woke everyone up. I made them go outside to our meeting place. We immediately called the emergency line. When they got there and checked it out, they confirmed it was from the gas furnace. The gas furnace had broken down and it needed to be fixed.As a result of it breaking, it had leaked some of those very harmful gases into the air. There was no way we were going to be able to stay in our house that night. We went to a friends house down the street. The whole house was filled with carbon monoxide gas. We all could have been seriously injured. We could have been killed if it weren’t for the carbon monoxide detector. My best advice for someone who wants to install this into their home, is to also install a carbon monoxide detector. It could save your life. Even if you do not think it could happen to you. You never know when a gas furnace could break down. The carbon monoxide detector would be your only way of knowing. Before you actually knew, it could be too late. I like to think of the future.

I like to think of my future wedding and the house I will live in.

When I imagine a house that I will live in, it has radiant flooring, a smart thermostat, zone control heating and cooling and an air purifier. It would have all of these extra expensive pieces of equipment in them. I would love to live in a house that gives me everything I have ever wanted. I want to put my feet on warm floors. I would like to adjust the temperature of the house in each room as needed. I want to be able to change the temperature of the house from my smart phone. I would never have to get up out of bed or the couch. I also want to feel like I am breathing in very clean air. All of these things together could make for a very comfortable home. I would of course have an HVAC professional come to my house and install all of this for me. I would never be able to do it on my own. It might be costly at first.
