I attended a local technical college for my certification as a cooling specialist.

• My first job was at the local cooling corporation, where I knew the entire a/c professional team because most were my neighbors.

Fortunately, they were keen to ensure I learned how to perform HVAC installation and air conditioner tune-up correctly. My first client on my own as an a/c worker was a client who had a studio apartment that needed a quality HVAC unit installed to help with indoor comfort. The client wanted to install an electric heat pump, but consultation with other indoor comfort business experts led me to recommend a ductless mini-split unit. The client wanted it installed just above a window which was okay and easy for a first job alone. I ensured they also got a digital thermostat to help with temperature regulation, especially since they had mentioned that they would be away for short stretches every month. As a company procedure, I also scheduled the client’s first air conditioner service so they would remember. I’ve since handled more complex jobs, but the studio apartment has always been my most memorable. The tensest jobs are the emergency maintenance calls that happen in the middle of summer or winter because the clients are always so desperate for help, but in most cases, we are fewer than the number of callers. My mom was so angry that she left the comfort of her home, which has a quality HVAC system, to come and bake while on holiday. The owner only softened when we threatened to leave the house for another place. She agreed to back down on how we used the ductless mini-split systems in the four-bedroom house we were renting so long as we used the digital thermostat whenever we were out and opened the windows when it wasn’t too hot. One thing I liked about my office before we transitioned into remote working was the ceiling-mounted ductless mini-split AC. It worked so well that we barely had any air conditioning issues raised in the two years I was at the office. Each office room included a digital thermostat, making it easy for the staff to adjust the temperatures to whatever was comfortable, depending on the weather and the number of people in the room. Once I started working from home, however, my HVAC installation became troublesome, and I became a regular customer at the local cooling corporation because I was stuck in multiple repairs that required me to buy a part with the guidance of the cooling specialist. It got too frequent that my old quality HVAC unit would no longer help with indoor comfort. The temperatures kept readjusting on their own, and even my thermostat wasn’t any help. Eventually I’m going to have to find a new heating system to replace it

This year is going to be really tough from a financial standpoint. I’ve got a lot of taxes I’ve got to pay and all sorts of other things that are coming up. There are improvements on the house that need to be made as well, but I don’t know how I’m going to cover that in the end. For instance, there’s a roofing repair that needs to be done over the garage. Since the water that leaks in doesn’t really get into the other parts of the house I haven’t prioritized it as much as I would otherwise. It’s really stupid to go without fixing something like this because the water damage is in the Attic regardless of the location. And you don’t want mold in your attic one way or another. I also have a window in my back room that is a little cracked. I was mowing my lawn and a rock shot out from underneath the mower deck and cracked the glass in the window. But the worst thing about my house right now is the lack of a heating system. My furnace quit working in March and I haven’t been able to replace it yet. I don’t know what I’m going to do for heat this winter because I don’t have a backup heating system for the broken furnace. It’s really the only option I had moving forward. Eventually I’m going to have to find a new heating system to replace it. I can’t just go all winter long without a heating system in my house. It’s important for me to be able to heat the house throughout the night hours when it finally gets really cold outside. That’s when I really need the heating system the most.

I like to shop at all of the thrift stores in my area. That’s where I found a lot of really good quality clothing that had only been used a handful of times. You can even get name brand stuff that would otherwise be extremely expensive at a boutique store. This is something I figured out when I was only in high school. Before then I would spend lots of money on name brand clothing from the mall and it was an easy way to drain the cash out of my bank account. I was very frustrated by the fact that I could only get a few articles of clothing for $100 when I was shopping exclusively at the mall. But then when I went to the thrift store, I could get the same amount of clothing for only $15. Actually this is where I like to get a lot of the clothes that I wear. It’s good quality stuff for a very low price. But you can get more than just clothing at the local thrift store. Recently I bought a bunch of box fans at the thrift store. I can put them in various doorways throughout the house to channel air in and out from room to room. I like using the fans because they help supplement the air conditioning system. My wife likes using the fans for this reason especially. It’s a great way to get here in and out from room to room. If you’re having problems with ventilation in your house, you can improve the air flow just by using fans.

My boss is really slow when it comes to making improvements and updates on the building we work in.

We had roof leaks for 2 years before we finally paid to have the roof replaced.

And before that we had Windows leaking whenever it would rain and the wind would push it against the building. It got really bad during a tropical storm this year. The wind from the storm pushed the rain against the side of the building and it ended up coming through our window because of the leaking. If the window had been better sealed from the outside, this leaking wouldn’t have been a problem. It’s just something that you have to be mindful of when you’re dealing with Windows and lots of rain. It’s also frustrating when there’s high winds pushing that rain into places where it’s not used to going. I should be happy that the roof isn’t leaking anymore, but the windows are still a frustration. The other thing that my boss really needed to upgrade was the heating and cooling system inside of our office. The furnace was too weak in the winter and we would all get extremely cold from the frigid temperatures outside. By the time it would get hot outside, the air conditioner was too weak to keep up. It’s hard to work in these conditions when you’re constantly uncomfortable because of the climate. Pushed my boss to replace the HVAC system sooner, but I’m just happy that it’s finally getting done at this point. Now we can work in peace with better heating and cooling.

My entire week is booked up solid in terms of my schedule.

I have a doctor’s appointment one day, an appointment with my lawyer another day, and also a lot of clients that I have to take care of before the end of the week.

It’s going to be hectic this week and next, but at least I’ll be going on a vacation next month. I planned the vacation about a year ago, but it’s taken me this long to actually get the time scheduled outside of my work hours. I had to figure out how to juggle clients over the last few weeks so I could get the time away from work for a change. When I started having issues with my air conditioner, I wasn’t sure if I had time to get an air conditioner technician over here to check it out. I knew that it would be tough with my busy work schedule this week. I ended up having to cancel one of my appointments just so I can get the heating and cooling technician over at my house to look at my air conditioner. I called them and they sent out a technician the next day and inspected my cooling system for me. Hours for it were serious issues with it, but luckily that wasn’t the case. My air conditioner is still under warranty with the manufacturer, so they were able to fix all the problems with the air conditioner without me paying any fees. I love having warranties on my air conditioning system along with my furnace.

• This is indeed a part of my character that I’m just not all that wild about.

And when it comes to asking for help, I’m even worse. So when you combine the fact my ego gets in the way when I obviously need help, it gets ugly. That’s just what happened last November with the air conditioning. Where I live, my pal and I are now getting ready to enter the toughest part of the year with regard to weather. I’m well south and that means perfect weather from November to June. But from June through November, it can be a beast down here with the heat. Thankfully, when my pal and I obtained this house, the seller had just substituted the Heating and A/C equipment. So my pal and I have a good heat pump to take care of any and all heating and cooling needs. But I wasn’t absolutely fantastic about getting the usual Heating and A/C service. That was a hard lesson to learn. School was in session last November when I came household to find the heat pump running but no cooling. It was so perplexing to my logical thinking that I got carried away. For like 20 minutes, I particularly thought that I could take the locale of a licensed and certified Heating and A/C professional. I even took the front panel off the air handler in the garage looking for something obvious to fix. Thank God, my wifey walked in from work just then and stopped me. She picked up the iPhone and called the Heating and A/C company which saved the warranty on our Heating and A/C equipment. In my haste to figure out what was wrong with the air conditioning, I forgot that me doing anything to the heat pump would void the warranty.

I wasn’t sure just what to do when my fears about the Heating as well as A/C unit were confirmed.

When I met my wifey my friend and I were just two college students, however we still had a lot of years left ahead of us before my friend and I had any idea what my friend and I were going to do for the rest of our lives, then but unlike some people, my friend and I grew closer together instead of growing further apart.

There are a lot of couples who have bizarre preferences when it comes to Heating, Ventilation plus A/C settings, especially when they sleep. I’m cheerful that my wifey and I both like to have the same Heating, Ventilation plus A/C settings.
