It’s not going to be much longer until my motorcar is covered in pollen.
Where I live, our mild winter time ends with an early Spring.
It’s just the beginning of January but I’m already seeing signs of the change over to warmer weather. Of course, I’m sure not complaining about the hot plus cold temperatures I’ve appreciated all winter. These sort of hot plus cold temperatures keep the heat pump silent plus our windows open. That’s the only sort of winter time I genuinely can imagine. I tried a couple of winters up north with a gas furnace running basically non-stop plus it was terrible. So I’m more than enthusiastic to be back in the land where the heat pump is king. It’s nice to be able to depend on one piece of Heating plus A/C technology for our heating plus cooling comfort. That said, there genuinely isn’t that much need for heating. And that cooling side of things is about to get ramped up. That’s why I take this time of year to get myself squared away when it comes to a/c costs. I start by calling the Heating plus A/C company to come do the a/c tune up. And then, it’s all about preparing the house plus our mindset. In our house, my good friend and I reduce the demand for cooling by acclimating to the heat plus humidity. That means my good friend and I wait until well into May before my good friend and I leave the a/c on all the time. But I also make sure that house is sealed up narrow to maximize the efficiency of the Heating plus A/C equipment. It won’t be long now before the hot plus cold temperatures are staying in the 76’s plus the trees plus flowers start doing their thing.
