It was slightly heated in my home, and so I got up from the couch to turn on the thermostat, for some indoor cooling comfort.
To my surprise and unhappiness, the air conditioning unit didn’t do anything.
That was never a good sign, and I spent a good few minutes just messing around with the central A/C unit and the thermostat to see if I could see any signs of life. After nothing happened, I sat back down on the couch. I knew there was no way I could afford heating and A/C service. Well, on the bright side, it was fall, and so I didn’t need to worry about using the air conditioning component too much since it was already cooling down outside. A month or so later, the temperatures cooled to the point of being cold. So, just like last month, I got up and attempted to turn on my heating system. But once again, the heating unit did not respond. So not only was the A/C not working, but so was the furnace. There was no way I could go without both systems, but how could I afford it? I called around to several local heating and A/C companies and was incredibly disappointed at the quotes they were giving me. I finally found one A/C company that offered payment plans, and I could just slowly pay the repair over time. I decided to go with this heating and air conditioning business, and I am ecstatic that my HVAC machines will be repaired.
