Finding a good quality heating dealership during an emergency service search

I had an emergency with my home heating system just as winter set in.

I decided to call the heating dealership that had installed the apartment’s furnace/heater because I was confident with their services.

You can imagine my frustration when my calls went unanswered for over an hour. Before I sound like a lousy client, I understood that it’s the season for emergencies across town, especially with people rushing to have last-minute heater maintenance. But at least a big heating business should have hired temps and someone to handle the phone and respond to client calls. In anger, I looked for another heating dealer. They picked up my call on the first ring! They asked about my problem with my heat pump, which I explained. After the call, I only had to wait one hour for the HVAC repairman to arrive. I let her in and led her to the furnace. She inspected the heater and found that I had replaced the filter incorrectly, hence the genesis of my problems with the system. Thankfully, my heat and AC product needed a boiler repair and the right filter. I could not imagine buying a new unit in the current economy. The technician taught me more about heaters and HVAC maintenance so as to avoid such errors in the future. I left a good review for them so that new customers would seek their services if they wanted help with indoor comfort, including a hybrid heating system which was new to me. It also had me thinking about installing a hydronic heating system.
