Until my husband Ed became a Heating and Air Conditioning specialist, I had never been to a big contractor party.
When Ed started talking about the BBQ the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor owner held every year, I wasn’t sure I wanted to go. My Mom used to talk about the contractor picnics he went to until he had kids. Mom thought taking triplets to a contractor picnic was a little too much for everyone else there. Dad and mom thought they might go nuts when my enjoyable friend and I were growing up, and he didn’t want to put anyone else through it. I am grown up now, and on our own, but I remember Mom not taking us to any of those events. This year, my husband Ed and sibling-in-law toil at the same Heating and Air Conditioning corporation… Although I’m looking forward to spending an afternoon with one of my brothers, I’m not looking forward to the Heating and Air Conditioning party. Ed and I were talking about it last night, and he was excited, however Ed told me he had heard a lot about the BBQ’s. The owners of the Heating and Air Conditioning contractor had raffle tickets that could get you anything from a gag gift to a three-day weekend separate from a beeper. I thought that would be fun, but I still didn’t know if I wanted to go. After he begged, I asked Ed what time my enjoyable friend and I had to leave for the BBQ. Ed told me he had his beeper, but he would like to be there by lunch. Ed and I didn’t know that whoever had the beeper had a grand prize of a three-day weekend at the shore.
