I feel really lucky that I happened to buy an older home that has a real authentic fireplace in it.
The fact of getting an authentic fireplace for no additional cost is a miracle! These days homes are not built with fireplaces for the most.
If you want a fireplace you have to invest in an electric fireplace or a gas fireplace and these are just not the same as having a real authentic fireplace. Fireplaces are really great to have in your home. Especially if you are older like me and grew up with fireplaces all around you. Also sometimes, having an authentic fireplace can heat your living room and make it so that you do not have to run your central heating and air conditioning system for a little while when in the living room. Also, an authentic fireplace takes no electricity to run. Just good old wood and fire. That is something that you do not see these days much. I am again very lucky that I have an authentic fireplace in my home. People still can get real fireplaces like this, but in order to get them you have to pay big bucks to have them created and installed. The houses just do not come with them built with it anymore like this awesome older house that I have. My family and I really appreciate this real fireplace we have when the holidays come and we can decorate the fireplace in holiday decorations. It adds to the holiday cheer around my home.
