My schedule has been really busy lately, and I’ve been neglecting a lot of basic responsibilities in my life.

My normally clean and tidy house has fallen to shambles and I have no time to keep things in order.

One of the biggest things I’ve been neglecting is my HVAC system. I need to hire an HVAC company to come out and service the equipment, but I haven’t had the time to book the appointment. I called one time several weeks ago, but they didn’t have any availability for several weeks, and I didn’t have my calendar on me. I hung up without booking an appointment and I told myself that I’d call again once I looked at my calendar. As you can imagine, I never looked at my calendar or booked another HVAC tune up, which leads me to my dilemma today. The air quality in my home has been decreasing dramatically, but I didn’t have time to wait until the HVAC company could come to my house. I decided to replace the air filter. When I went to find a replacement though, I couldn’t find one. Instead of running out to get a new air filter though, I just took the old air filter out and hoped that my air quality would improve without the dirty air filter being installed. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Instead, I ended up causing all the dust and pollen to float around inside my AC system and it caused even bigger issues.

My HVAC system is really old. The furnace is 24 years old and the AC system is 23 years old, which far exceeds the lifespan of most HVAC systems on today’s market. When the HVAC technician comes to my house every year to service the equipment, he always tells me how horrible my heat and air system is. This is my first house and the first HVAC system I’ve ever owned so I have nothing to compare it to. However, I really don’t think my HVAC system is that terrible. I pay under two hundred dollars every month for my heat and air to run, and even less during the winter when my furnace is running. I’ve never struggled to pay the bill and I’ve never had anything to compare it to, so I’ve never seen an issue. My HVAC technician says that what I’m seeing isn’t normal though. According to him, HVAC systems are only meant to last ten to twelve years. He also said that my monthly bills are higher than average. I’m sure the HVAC technician is telling me the truth, but what he’s forgetting is that my HVAC system was designed two decades ago. Appliances that were made that long ago were built to last, unlike the new stuff that’s being put on the market today. I’ve been looking at purchasing a new HVAC system for my home because I know that I’ll need to install a new one eventually. However, I’m determined to wait until this HVAC system doesn’t work anymore.

I decided to go out and buy a portable air purification system to help with the bad air quality issues.

If you happen to have bad air quality in your local area and do not have allergies to trees, having lots of trees around your home can help shield the bad air quality and have it not affect you too badly. I learned this fact quite recently when we had bad air quality in our area and I went to visit a friend who had lots of trees around their property. It turned out that the trees were blocking off and catching some of that bad air quality before it hit the house! Because I felt like I could breathe so much better over there than in my own house. It was then when my friend explained the fact that the trees were the reason, and that it was a good thing either he or I did not have allergies to any kind of trees. Because these trees help the air quality otherwise. I was pretty shocked that this was the case, but obviously it was true. Because once I went back home, I was back in the bad air quality having the same issues again. I decided to go out and buy a portable air purification system to help with the bad air quality issues. And while it did help a little, the whole air quality was so bad that it couldn’t make it perfect. It just made it more bearable. But that was an interesting fact all together about the trees and the air quality. Who would have ever thought right?

It is really crazy when I think about the fact that the issue I was having with air quality in my house, especially when I was trying to sleep at night, was all due to the fact of having lousy air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system! I originally thought it was more complicated than that and that I needed to invest several thousand dollars into a whole home air purification system.

It was by a sheer stroke of luck that I was out one day and found they had HEPA brand air filers on sale at the local hardware store.

Because HEPA air filters were a little pricey I never tried them before. But because they were on sale I decided to try them out. And let me tell you that these HEPA air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system were the answer! The same night I put in the HEPA air filters into my central heat and a/c unit I no more air quality issues almost instantly! It was a really smooth night and I slept so well for the first time in who knows how long. These HEPA air filters for my central heating and air conditioning system were the answer all along. It turned out that the generic air filters I had been buying were not doing their job very well and as a result, I had bad air quality in the house. I may as well have had no air filters in my central heating and air conditioning system because they were that bad and did nothing!

Life can be totally unpredictable.

You never know what is going to happen from one minute to the next.

I was very much reminded of this when my central heating and air conditioning system broke down out of nowhere a few weeks back. I had just gotten my heating and air conditioning tune up and check up done and I was not expecting the central heat and a/c unit to break down. It just did not make any sense what so ever. The heating and cooling specialist found nothing wrong and said that my central heating and air conditioning system was good to go. But things happen. I had to call the local heat and a/c company right away and tell them that their HVAC specialist was wrong. And then I had to schedule them to come out right away to repair my central heating and air conditioning system. Because of the false information that came out of the heat and a/c tune up and check up, I got lucky and they said they would repair my central heating and cooling unit for free! I did not have to pay a cent. That is another case of how life is unpredictable. I would have never thought that they would admit fault and fix my central heating and air conditioning system for free! You do not see that kind of thing every single day. So it worked out quite well actually. They got someone out on the same day within hours so I did not have to go somewhere for the night.

I have always had issues with my kitchen in the summer time months of the year with it being too hot.

Even with the central air conditioning running it just gets too hot in there from running the oven and the stove all the time.

But recently I figured out a solution to this thanks to today’s heating and air conditioning technology. I went out and bought one of the modern portable air conditioning systems and believe me it really helped! The power of portable air conditioning systems today are not like the old swamp coolers that did little to nothing when using them. Portable air conditioning systems can cool small places like a kitchen in no time at all as if it was the same as central air conditioning. I had to sometimes remind myself that this is a portable air conditioning system and not my central heating and cooling unit providing this great a/c! I highly recommend getting a portable air conditioning system because it works really well in cooling small or even large rooms if your central heating and air conditioning system unit isn’t doing the job. I feel that portable air conditioning systems are probably one of the best forms of modern heating and cooling technology to have hit the market these days. They were the best thing to replace the very weak and horrible old swamp coolers. I am so glad this worked out for my kitchen issue. There really wasn’t anything else that could have got rid of the hot feeling that was in there.

I just bought a portable air purification system and was pretty let down when I set it up and found that it did not work! I went over everything in the instruction manual and I had done everything correctly.

• It just seemed that I had bought one which had a factory defect and was broken from the start.

So I had to go through the headache of having to return the portable air purification system to the store. I hate running to return things like portable air purification systems because you have to go through all this hassle to prove it doesn’t work when you get back to the store with it. They had to plug it in and try it every which way themselves. I mean, that is so dumb! It’s time wasting too. If you think common sense, why on earth would anyone return a portable air purification system just to ask for another of the same type and all unless it was broken? It is not like you would be scamming a free portable air purification system or anything like that. This is why I hate returning things like this. I had to do it with a portable air conditioning system too that didn’t work once and it took over an hour just to do the return, get a working replacement and be on my way home. Something like this should only take no more than 10 minutes if there is not a crowd of people in there. But this is life and the rules when you buy something like a portable air purification system from an outlet store.

It was so hot the other day that my central heating and air conditioning system was majorly working overtime just to be able to cool my home. However it could not get itself to the temperature set on the thermostat! Yes it was that hot out! So in order to get the house to even seventy five degrees I set the thermostat on the wall to seventy one degrees. This is what was really making the central heating and air conditioning system work overtime. But what else could I do? I needed to have some kind of quality and cool air conditioning. Anything above seventy five degrees just gets a bit too uncomfortable to me. So I have to have it at that temperature at the very highest. I could never have it any higher than that or it’s pointless. That is just how I am really. I was lucky that this super hot day was only for one day and not the whole week or weeks on end. Yes it is still very hot here, but not so hot that the central air conditioning can not completely do its thing properly like it was that one day last week. I have the most up to date and brand new central heating and air conditioning system in my home, so for it to not be able to handle that heat, this should tell you exactly how bad and deadly hot it was outside. I will probably have to call my local heat and a/c company soon to have them do an HVAC tune up and check up a little earlier than normal after that!

I recently went to my local computer store to have my PC repaired. I had called them ahead of time to see if they could repair it same day while I sat in the store and waited. They said that based on what I told them was wrong they thought they could by simply wiping it and reinstalling the operating system. This was good news. I made this call ahead of time because it was very hot outside due to a heatwave we have been having. And inside the computer store I knew was really great air conditioning! Not to mention on top of the air conditioning being great in there, they always had a great smell and air quality in the place. It is just so relaxing. You would not expect this for something like a computer shop, but there it was. Perfect air conditioning, great indoor comfort and not to mention the great people that work there. They even have an area where you can sit down and relax while they work on your computer. I always have to compliment them on the great air conditioning and the great air quality every single time I go into the place. It lets them know that someone notices and hopefully will keep them having that great air conditioning and that great air quality. The air conditioning comes from a commercial heating and cooling system that is very powerful. Much more powerful than even the brand new and up to date central heating and air conditioning system I have in my own house!

There is a heating and air conditioning company in my area that had been closed for several years.

However the building remained and it never got sold or got turned into something else.

Well, recently the old heating and air conditioning company opened its doors for the first time in almost a decade! But with a twist. There is new owners and the name of the heat and a/c company has changed. They revamped the entire building and put a new sign on the front of the building to reflect the new name of the new heating and air conditioning company. It really is mind blowing when you think about it. I had never imagined that this heating and air conditioning company would ever be opened again, nonetheless have it be with new owners and a new name. I will have to call them up once they are really going strong and have them do my next heating and air conditioning system tune up and check up. This will give me an idea on how good they are and if I want to start using them for all of my heating and air conditioning needs moving forward. It would be nice because the heat and a/c company I use is out of town and I always get charged for the driving distance on top of the regular HVAC home service fees. I will know very soon if this new heating and air conditioning company in the old HVAC company building is good.

I had a bit of an accident around the side of my house the other week.

I was doing some outdoor painting of my home and I dropped the roller and it broke the window in my living room! Not only was this a major pain in the rear because I had to go out and buy a new window that very day before night and install it myself, but the glass from the broken window shattered all over the place and some of the glass got into my central heating and air conditioning system! My central heating and air conditioning system sits right by the living room window on the side of my house, so when the window broke, the glass got into it. It was a real mess. I tried to clean some of the glass out of the central heating and air conditioning system myself, however it just wasn’t happening. The very next day I had no choice but to call the local heat and a/c company for them to send out a certified heating and cooling specialist to clean the glass out of my central heating and air conditioning system unit! This ended up costing me a few hundred dollars just for the HVAC home services call plus the labor. Then on top of that, the cost of the new window I had to run out and buy that very same day it broke! It was quite a hit to my bank account to tell you the truth. However, all is fine now and back to normal. In the future I will just have to be more careful.

I just purchased an electric fireplace for my home and I have to tell you that it is wonderful! I really love this electric fireplace.

I have it placed right in my living room area where a regular fireplace would be had there been one in this house.

It looks really nice and it keeps me and my family extra warm on the colder nights that we have been having as of lately. The electric fireplace also adds an essence to the whole living room area and I am thinking it will be really great when the holiday season comes around next year for decorating it with holiday cheer. All around this electric fireplace looks really great and I am so glad I invested the money into it. It had been something that I was wanting to get for the house, but was just waiting for them to go on sale at the local outlet store that I bought it from. They always have electric fireplaces on sale at a certain time of the year but it varies as to which month and week it will happen. So I just waited patiently until it came on sale. It finally did the other week and that is exactly when I bought the electric fireplace. I am sure this electric fireplace will be in the family for a long time. I heard that electric fireplaces are pretty durable and as long as you take care of them, they could actually last an entire lifetime! That is what I am hoping is the case with the electric fireplace I just bought!
