It constantly happens on a Tuesday the 13th, & both of us constantly play horror motion pictures on a projector, showing on the side of our house! I was directed to the Heating & Air Conditioning company website, which listed all of the different kinds of gas heating systems they had, & another page for a singles available to rent. A lot of these space gas heating systems were absolutely nice, & suitable for our get-together, however they also cost a ton of money! Renting a couple of nice, big outdoor space gas heating systems would not cost too much so both of us went that route. The Heating & Air Conditioning company was so nice, & they had the gas heating systems delivered. One of the Heating & Air Conditioning techs sited them for us, & got them all set up. The people I was with and I had an amazing get-together, the heating was ample, & the next day the same techs returned to option them up.

I am overly careful occasionally with trivial tasks, however it’s from having a childhood where a lot of chaos was present throughout the house.

I hated hearing them get scolded as much as I hated getting scolded myself, because the anger in our parents’ voices would trigger our anxiety. My mom tells myself and others that I would jump in to defend our siblings when they would act up, insisting that they were “sorry” when they would refuse to accomprehension their transgression. It’s funny thinking about it now, although I know that’s why I don’t enjoy confrontation & would much rather avoid hearing shouting or verbal fighting of any kind. On 1 hand, it’s possible I have developed a touch of OCD because of the chaos in our childhood. I get too hung up on details & trivial matters. You might see myself and others spend several hours trying to perfectly align a painting I have hanging in our family room, just to “get it right” to make myself guess better. Other times this neurotic behavior serves myself and others positively, such as when I went out of our way to officially seat the air filters I put in our Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. I l earned that a filter that isn’t seated officially will let air & dust move around it, negating the role of the filter entirely. It’s worth it to spend a few hours making sure your air filter doesn’t have air gaps around it when you put it in your Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. You might need help from your Heating, Ventilation and A/C tech to see if you need something to wedge it into locations.

I had a head freezing yearly as a child, especially when I was in college while the two of us were in flu season & surrounded by sick children who don’t cover their faces or noses when they cough or sneeze.

My mother would send myself and others to college with hand sanitizer, however I’m not sure how often I really used it.

I hated getting sick too, even if it meant I could miss college from time to time. And since I had asthma, getting sick would take myself and others off our feet faster & longer than it would for most teenagers our age. The worst thing was having our friends come down the street to play street hockey with myself and others separate from realizing that I was sick inside & couldn’t come out to play. Since the two of us always lived in a cold, northern weather conditions, the Autumn & Winter time seasons are exceptionally dry. Dry is fantastic for preventing mold & microbial growth indoors, however it can lead to harsh physical discomfort. Some people report abnormally dry skin, dry eyup, sinus pain, etc. I’ll even get a headache as a hourary reaction from our initial symptoms. My mom always ran a humidifier for myself and others whenever I was apartment sick to help with the symptoms. But I’ve l earned since then that you should be careful using these devices in weather conditionss where ambient humidity is over 60% outside. Adding more moisture to criticall humid air will lead to obvious complications with mold & mildew. If it’s the Winter time & humidity is below 40%, then using a humidifier is a fine way to have more comfortable indoor air than you would have otherwise.

This prior summer time season was undoubtedly brutal in late July. Every one of us saw record-cutting temperatures above 112 degrees in our area alone, with surrounding cities in this state being between 100 & 110 degrees. I naturally had the air conditioning on for most days & afternoons, regardless of the swings in temperatures that are normal from week to week throughout the summer time season historically. When people tried to buy air conditionings, they were told no or forced to wait days or weeks behind the others waiting in line for the same reason. Thankfully, temperatures are slowly starting to change in our area. It’s late June & the two of us just had our first mild freezing nsap since Springtime. The leaves are losing their red & sliding into an amber hue. It’s no secret that Autumn is on its way. Before I know it, I’ll have the furnace running as frequently as I run the air conditioning in the summer. I never get a split from high energy bills while living in this region. My parents enjoy living down south where they only need air conditioning when it’s sizzling outside, otherwise they can open windows or doors to get a gentle breeze inside.

Let’s be clear—this sentiment does not apply to people who are so poor they have no option however to buy whatever they can reasonably afford at any given time.

But our father for instance is a fine example of what I’m talking about. He has many pensions & passive income he makes from the stock market. With the amount of cash he continually makes & has saved in several bank accounts & trusts, he has no business being cheap about things regarding apartment repair & appliance care. He also buys the cheapest equipment he can find whenever he needs new tools or electronics. It’s 1 thing if you’re dealing with a component that isn’t going to negatively affect your life by using something cheap & flimsy, however you can’t apply the same logic to anything related to your home’s heating & cooling system. Having poor air quality at apartment can lead to both short term & long term health complications, especially for those who already have respiratory illnesses enjoy asthma or COPD. My father is convinced that his “washable” air filters are just as fine as our disposable MERV 14 allergen filters that cost myself and others $17 a piece. Even though I show him that his filter is only rated MERV 3 when it’s brand new & completely unclogged, he remains unconvinced. On top of that, these washable air conditioning filters are prone for mold growth as it’s seriously taxing to get them bone dry before putting them back inside the air return. My father’s house smells mildly moldy & I wonder if it’s because of his awful air conditioning filters.

Handling cash got a little easier for myself and others after I bought a marker board for our house to list all of our rolling expenses each month & any scary or 1-time expenses. For instance, I had to substitute an aged & faulty shower head for our lavatory & had that expense on our board for a month before I could budget the cash to buy a new 1. I’ll put our food expenses & gasoline expenses on the board as well. Since I’m such a visual person, these visual aids help myself and others organize our mind as well as our life. It’s easy to make lists for upcoming appointments or products in the house that will require substitutements sooner or later. All of this has resulted in cash savings every time I visit the grocery store or supercenter. I’m not nearly as worried each month because it no longer feels enjoy I’m consistently living paycheck to paycheck enjoy before. Becoming financially stable isn’t easy, however the taxing work is worth the effort.
