We own a beach house which is rarely used since we only visit the coast during holidays.
I decided to use the house to earn some extra money. My husband and I talked about it, and we decided that it would be good to rent the house to the tourists who would prefer having a home during their visit instead of staying at a hotel. The last time we were there the air conditioner was broken, and could not help with indoor comfort. We were unable to repair it before we left since we had limited time. I decided to get it repaired and to make sure that the house is in good condition to be occupied by other people. On arrival, I called for home services. They were the most suitable since they do both Ac repair and HVAC maintenance. When the HVAC technician came he gave me a list of a few spare parts that were needed for the repair. When I went to the HVAC company, I consulted an HVAC professional about the equipment. He told me that based on the few spare parts I was to buy the equipment was not in a bad state. It was okay to get it fixed instead of buying a new HVAC unit. The tech came back after two days and fixed the equipment. The ductwork was redone again, and he also changed the AC filter. The problem with the air duct was now fixed. The Air conditioning system was working perfectly. After some work here and there, the house was finally ready for renting. The air quality in the house was also great. I had a friend who works in a tourism agency and she referred some of their clients to me. Deciding to use the house for business was a good decision since it was always occupied and I got good money.
