Trying to be a good neighbor but with an Heating & Air Conditioning warning

Being a neighbor is something current for me.

I grew up in a neighborhood up north so it wasn’t exactly neighborly in the building where I lived.

It wasn’t exactly hostile either but pretty much, everyone kept to themselves. But after college & a few years of experience in the dining room, I was transferred to a more rural region in a odd state. Not only did I escape the intense radiant heating & non existent air conditioner of condo life in the city, I became a neighbor. I also became a homeowner for the first time. I was particularly keen to take care of my home & wanted to learn all I could. I even spent an hour with the Heating & Air Conditioning worker when she first came out to do the season Heating & Air Conditioning service. That was a undoubtedly enlightening hour & gave me good respect for both residential Heating & Air Conditioning & Heating & Air Conditioning professionals. So when a neighbor recently asked me to hold the flashlight for him while she attempted to repair her heat pump, it was tricky. On the one hand, I particularly love having neighbors & do my best to be a good one. But I also knew that my neighbor was making a mistake by trying to work on her heat pump. At the undoubtedly least, she was going to void the warranty. So I went over with my flashlight although I also brought some advice as well. I’m excited that she ended up calling the Heating & Air Conditioning corporation. I know she just needed a nudge in the right direction & what are good neighbors for, right?
