I had been perusing the internet the last couple of months, however i was looking for information on a current Heating and A/C system; My partner and I had been talking about getting a current Heating and A/C system, however it had to wait until this one no longer worked.

When I lived in the north, I hated it. I kept saying that when I got old enough to leave my parents house, I was going to move south. I was never moderate enough, regardless of how good the boiler was working, and when I moved south, I didn’t guess I’d need a boiler. I thought all I had to do was have an excellent air conditioner, plus I would be comfortable. When winter season arrived, it shocked me to realize how cold it could get at night. The hot plus cold temperatures dropped to frigid at times, plus my friend and I had temps that didn’t get out of the fifties for several weeks… My pal and I even had some Summer afternoons when it was in the sixties, especially when coastal storms were moving in. My buddy told me I should get a fireplace or some space heaters… She had space furnaces in his house, in case my friend and I had a cold spell, but he had recently had a boiler installed, as well. I didn’t want to know what it would cost to have a boiler installed, even though I knew I could afford a few space heaters. I went to city plus bought two space heaters. I had one for the living room, plus another for the residing area. I had a fan that included heat plus air conditioning in the lavatory. The following winter season was dry plus warm, which didn’t bother me, even though I knew Summer was going to come again. If the storms came through like last year, I would have the space furnaces to dry out the house, plus help the air conditioning with the humidity.

My worst fear has always been lightning striking my dwelling plus it catching on fire, but i was always afraid I would end up stuck in the dwelling plus never get out. I never expect lightning to hit the air conditioning unit. I knew it had struck anywhere near the house, even though I didn’t guess it had hit the air conditioner. I wanted to go outside plus look but it was raining so hard, I thought it would chop the windows when it hit, but the lightning was coming often, plus it illuminated the room, even though the curtains were closed. I went to the residing room, plus hid in the closet. It was there I realized how sizzling plus stuffy it was in the house, plus I could aroma ozone inside. The lights were out, plus the air conditioning component wasn’t running. I needed to know what had happened. The storm was calming, plus I was looking out the windows. There were no lights anywhere in the area, except for a few sparks coming from my air conditioning unit. I thought I was seeing fog, but what I was seeing was smoke coming off the A/C unit. I had to call the power corporation, but they already knew my friend and I were separate from power. I then called the Heating plus A/C corporation, who had so several calls, they could not answer. I had to wait until afternoon, when the sparks had subsided, even though I could now see the pressing hole the lightning had blown in its side. I was going to need a current air conditioning unit.

I had heard of washable filters before, but I had forgotten about them.

It wasn’t until my friend and I got on the subject of HEPA filters and other kinds of A/C filters that are sold at the different stores and HVAC shops.

We talked about the generic plastic really bad ones that really do nothing but damage your air conditioning machine and make it work harder, all the while shortening its lifespan. Then we talked about HEPA air filters and how those are of much better quality. My friend surprised me by mentioning she uses washable air filters, since I didn’t think she would want to go through the hassle of having to clean them. But she told me it was far more convenient to occasionally clean them and save money rather than have to toss them out every month or so like you do with regular air filters. Well, she had a point there. It made me reconsider my own air filters, but to be honest I am too lazy to clean the air filters, and I decided that I am going to stick with the filters I have. Yes, they are more expensive, but I know they get the job done and that is the main thing that matters. But it was interesting to learn about the different kinds of air filters and how people have their own opinions on which one is better, and which one works for them. One thing we can both agree on, is having high quality air filters is a good idea.

When my furnace system started having issues, I was faced with the possibility of it breaking down and calling a heater repair technician.

However, I was kind of curious about the heating machine, and how they go about fixing it. So I decided to get a better look at the furnace system. I wasn’t entirely sure how to take it apart, and that is something I had to search up. I really didn’t think it would be that difficult, but once I did manage to take it apart, my opinion changed pretty fast. The insides were interesting to look at, but also confusing. I wasn’t entirely sure what I was looking at to be honest, and that is when I was beginning to realize that this may be a bad idea, trying to fix it and all…So instead I decided to patch it back up and call the local A/C corporation. Maybe a braver soul would have been willing to try their hand at repairing it, but I felt it was too risky when I had such little experience, not to mention dangerous. I thought it was probably to be on the safe side and leave it up to a professional cooling worker. The professional cooling serviceman arrived and thankfully the issue was incredibly minor, so minor, he was able to repair it in the same day. Usually if it is a part issue they have to order that part and you have to wait a few days or so, but not this time, which was nice.

It doesn’t seem like there is anything free in the world anymore.

Sometimes you can come across some free things, but they are usually of low quality.

It is hard to find good quality items and service for free, but sometimes, you can be pleasantly surprised. Just recently a local heating and air conditioning company surprised me and did just that. They advertised for today only, free HVAC repair. Now that was a legendary offer, and I knew there were going to be quite a few people that were going to take advantage of that offer. I called and asked if they did A/C maintenance, and they agreed to do HVAC maintenance for free as well. I jumped for joy, and waited for the cooling tech to arrive. When the cooling specialist arrived, he did a quick and efficient job of checking the heating and air conditioning system, and he confirmed the machine looked great. We talked for a few minutes, and he told me that he still has 7 more appointments to get to, and how it was going to be a very busy day. I could only imagine that. I am glad that I am not a cooling repairman working at the company right now, but at the same time, I am very thankful for their service. Now I can rest assured that my air conditioner and heating unit are covered for the rest of the summer and winter seasons, and it was all for free, can you believe it.

Since I work at a heating and cooling company, I get to see all of the newest A/C products and cool HVAC technology brought in the store.

I have never been super fascinated with heating and air conditioning technology, but I do like to look at all of the cool, shiny new stuff.

Just last week we had a box of smart thermostats come in, and they looked so sleek and modern, with a nice touch screen. Then a new kind of heating and air conditioning machine arrived, and it was nice. It was a new kind of window air conditioner, it looked pretty cool. Last, I saw some new portable air conditioners come as well, and I honestly considered reserving one for myself. That is one of the benefits of working at a HVAC store, I not only get to speak with actual HVAC workers and get some great energy saving tips, but I can reserve any neat heating and air conditioning products that I like for myself. I was really considering nabbing one of the portable air conditioners, but I had to focus on my job and getting it done first. I had a customer try to make a return with HEPA air filters, complaining they didn’t work properly. After asking a few questions, I found out they were putting them in the wrong way. I told them the correct way, and they left happy. Then there was a call from a woman who needed help installing a smart thermostat, so there were a lot of things to do.

Last year I decided to take my wife on a surprise vacation for our anniversary.

I booked a good hotel for both of us. On arrival, I discovered that the air conditioner in our room was not working. It was during the hot season, and it was easy to notice the problem. I immediately reported the problem to the management of the hotel and they promised to call the HVAC maintenance for the Ac repair. The temperatures there are usually very high and it would be unfavorable for us to be in a hotel room without a good air conditioning system. I wanted this holiday to be a good one for my wife. I wanted her to feel special and to have a good time. The HVAC technician from the home services came to check the equipment and he informed us that it was damaged and hence they were going to install a new one to help with indoor comfort. The HVAC professional also visited our room to confirm the technician’s feedback. I decided to ask the management to assign us a new room if the problem was not going to be solved by the end of the day. The manager assured us that he was going to visit an HVAC company to buy a new HVAC unit. Later on, the equipment was installed. It took a while since the ductwork was done again since there was a problem with the air duct. At first, they thought it was a problem with the Ac filter from the previous equipment, but they realized that it was a bigger problem. By evening, all the work was complete. The new equipment was working perfectly, and the Air quality was good. In the evening, the manager came to apologize for the inconvenience. Our vacation was not ruined after all, and we had a good time.

The air conditioner in my office stopped working.

Staying in the house was becoming unbearable since it was hot.

I complained to the maintenance department about the equipment. Recently they had been asked to check on the office equipment, but they did not raise any issues. I asked them to ensure that the problem was solved by the end of the day. I had a busy schedule due to the workload at that time. I went to finish the work in the meeting room and left the tech to fix the problem. After the tech checked the equipment he recommended that a specialist be called because the problem seemed to be more complicated. The HVAC maintenance company was called and they sent an HVAC technician for the Ac repair. After the tech inspected the equipment he realized that it was not cooling the air. He tried to fix the problem, but he was unable. He informed us that the damage was irreparable. The problem was then reported to the administration. The company’s maintenance was assigned to buy new equipment and the formalities were complicated by the finance department. The head of maintenance visited an HVAC company to buy a new HVAC unit. He was able to talk to an HVAC professional who showed him some of the good quality equipment they had. He then settled for a good air conditioning system. The equipment had all the qualities we required for the office. It also had a quality Ac filter. After the equipment was delivered to the office. A contractor from the home services was called to install the equipment. The ductwork was done again since the air duct was not in a good state. After that the air quality was good. The following day I went to my office, and the equipment was already working to help with indoor comfort

The last time I went on work leave, my husband also decided to have some time off work.

He wanted us to spend some time away from home. We owned a house in another place. We bought that house as a holiday home since it is located in a very beautiful town. The house was one of the best investments we made. We have a lot of good memories there. Our children love spending time there whenever we visit. Our children were still in school hence we could not take them with us. But they were going to join us later on. When we got there my wife started complaining that the Air conditioner wasn’t working properly. The temperatures were very high and it was not possible to just stay there without a proper air conditioning system. We decided to invite an HVAC professional to come and give us some advice on how we should solve our problem. He then examined the equipment and realized that the air duct was blocked. After he analyzed the equipment, he advised us to find a good HVAC technician who could do the ductwork afresh and also change the ac filter. He recommended a good HVAC company that was not far from our home. They have a good HVAC maintenance team and they do home services. I visited the company and booked an appointment with them. They even agreed to set our appointment for the following day. They sent a tech who completed the job as fast as possible. After the Ac repair was done the air quality was great. The HVAC unit was now working to help with indoor comfort. Our stay there got better and we spent a lot of quality time together before the children joined us for the last few days of our stay there.
